Choices Choices Choices

New Year's Option

New Years is just around the corner and so it's best to be ready ASAP.

I'm not sure if you guys are having as much trouble with your New Years outfit as much I am with mine. But, to help you and myself at the same time, I have created a collage of four different outfits to help you be a more decisive on what to choose whether it's a dress or an accessory.

I hope this helps you!

1.

The sequin dress has always been known to be worn on New Years and this year is no different.
A white envelope clutch, a simple ring, and some cute black suede booties will sure complete the whole look without taking to much attention away from the dress.

2.
A lace dress is one of the many dresses that is prefect for this holiday and red just adds that perfect punch of color.
A great pair of pointed toe heels with straps (or not, both ways work), a gold statement necklace that complements the red color of the dress, and a black and white clutch that adds that something special to the whole outfit.

3.

Leather dress have not become a thing of the past! They are definitely back this year and New Year's is the perfect excuse to wear one.
Even though this dress is a bit girly because of the waist line, you can add accessories such as a gold statement necklace that adds some grunge to it.
A pair of good strappy sandals will match perfectly to the leather dress and a colorful mini handbag will make the whole outfit just that more noticeable.

4.
If you want to be more on the casual side but you don't want to stick out either, then a peplum sweater and a feather skirt is the ideal combination for you to wear.
A gold ring such as the one above, a colorful mini crossbody, and black suede pumps add a flawless amount of accessories to complete a look that looks more casual before.
Oxblood is still in season and nail polish is one the best ways to show it off. Overall, it adds that something extra to the whole look.

Good luck on your choices and have a great weekend!

Christmas

Christmas is almost over and I cannot believe how fast it come down to this day. Now, it's almost over.

After Christmas dinner, my family and me went down to downtown and took a walk. It was freezing but, it was well worth it and it was nice to get some fresh air. I couldn't feel my toes after, oh well.

Empire State of Mind

Hi Everyone, I know it has been an extremely long time since I've updated but, I'm back.

I've had finals for the past week and have not been able to update since the beginning of this month but, I have a month off from school and lots of time on my hands therefore I'm planning on many updates.

I went into the city this past saturday for a couple hours and wanted to show you some of the photos I took.

We went to some of the usual touristic spots like Rockefeller Center and Fifth Avenue which was like a mini heaven. Some of the display windows, like the one at Cartier, were just like looking into another world. The way the way the were decorated was magical and creative.

After Midtown, we took a train to Soho and decided to get lunch in near Little Italy. We found this french bistro to grab a bite at which had an exquisite interior that I fell in love with. The food was delicious as well and I couldn't finish it (the rest just wouldn't fit into my stomach). Overall, the vibe was warm and comfortable.

Unfortunately, my trip was very short and only lasted a couple hours in the city. I hope I come back soon and for those of you who live close or in the city, it would be great if you could suggest some good places to visit.

When I saw this handbag the other day, I knew I had to have it ASAP.
Luckily, there was only one left and it was all mine :)
Maybe I'll do a shoot with this? hmm...

mellow jean

Wow, it's finally friday and I can't believe that this week just flew by.

This outfit was also from the warm sunday but, I think it's the least favorites of all three. We all have one of those moments where when you're still in the house and you're outfit seems great but, once you go outside, not so much. That's what I was having and I was thinking the whole time that I should try something new, to take a risk. It wasn't until I got out of the car and looked over the pictures on my computer that I realized that I don't like it so much. Also, maybe I shouldn't have walked on the grass but, on the pavement instead. Oh well(lesson learned!).

But, I'll post it anyways for that fact that it bring good memories of the warm weather.

I hope you readers have a great weekend :)
